Oh My Gospel!?About

About

What is Oh My Gospel!?

Oh My Gospel!? is the entire Bible turned into a daily podcast. 365 episodes, one for each day of the year — covering every book from Genesis to Revelation. Whether you're a lifelong reader or just Bible-curious, press play and let the Good Book do the talking.

How it was made

This project was built with a mix of modern tools and a love for the Word:

  • Podcast episodes generated using NotebookLM
  • Transcription powered by Replicate
  • Website built with Claude Code, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS
  • Deployed on Vercel

Sources

  • King James Bible — public domain text
  • Bible reading calendar — the CEM Bible-in-a-Year Reading Plan from Christian Educational Ministries (PDF).

We chose this plan because it covers the whole Bible in 365 days without gaps, front-loads the New Testament to ground everything that follows, and pairs each day's main reading with a Psalm and a Proverb — balancing doctrine, worship, and practical wisdom so the habit stays nourishing rather than becoming a checklist.

Disclaimers

  • This project is for educational and entertainment purposes. It is not a substitute for professional pastoral guidance, theological study, or personal devotion.
  • Podcast episodes are AI-generated and may contain inaccuracies or interpretive differences. Always refer to the original biblical text for authoritative reading.
  • Some episodes are intentionally opinionated and lean on modern-day “stretch” references to make the lessons relatable and digestible for a wide range of listeners. Depending on the passage, these parallels may draw from:
    • Pop culture — movies, TV, music, memes
    • Conspiracy theories — hidden codes, Nephilim/aliens, end-times elites
    • Literary allusions in novels and fiction
    • Mythological comparisons across world traditions
    • Apocalyptic analysis tied to today's crises (climate, AI, geopolitics)
    • Cultural impact — idioms, art, and customs shaped by the Bible
    • Poetic echoes in famous poems and lyrics
    • Science vs. scripture — Genesis and evolution, miracles and physics
    • Psychological interpretation — Jungian archetypes, character motivations
    • Ethical and moral implications for modern issues (AI, justice, wealth)

These are meant as on-ramps into the text, not as authoritative interpretation.
